The airport kiosks that Jieyang previously manufactured are often outfitted with electronic passport readers and passport scanners that can accommodate a variety of identity documents and the International Civil Aviation Organization standard ICAO DOC 9303. They are able to identify a wide variety of documents, including passports, visas, resident ID cards, driver's licenses for cars, driving permits, travel permits for Hong Kong and Macau, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore, and others.
